Designer Door & Window

Worst call I've had in a while, from a B2B experience. I'm sure they do lots of big jobs, but they won't get mine, big or small. If I could I would give zero stars.

I've been popping into the shop over the last year or two because I've been planning to remodel all of the windows and doors in my house. The showroom has a great selection of options for me to look at and the staff is nice and knowledgeable. Everyone in the office is busy at work and it's great how there is always someone that can break away from the desk to answer my questions. This company employs really nice people! They've helped me pick the right EMTEK door knobs/locks and thresholds (which have held me over while I waited to go all in on my project) and I am really looking forward to putting in my order this spring for the whole project They have been so patient with me and if there is a wait time on installation (and I think there will be because they are always busy busy) then it's worth it to me because I know they know what they are doing.

During 2022 we purchased brand doors from Designer. Recently needed a service part and went to the manufacturer. They informed us they have no order from Designer even after sharing documents. So it appears like we paid for and were sold one product and supplied a totally different product. Who Knew .. the truth comes out. We trusted them to be an honest retailer..... as a customer ...the staff can be quite mercurial to interact with. This isn't a positive, so if your considering spending your money as they say "caveat emptor", not a business worth recommending. As other reviewers have posted, "high end prices" and "they learned the hard way", so did we. Shop around. Wish we could have written a positive review, the review as written, they earned.
